Our Repair Services
Our skilled volunteers are here to help repair a wide variety of household items covered by Peterborough Repair Café. We’ll always do our best to bring your item back to life and keep it out of landfill. We can usually accept most portable household items that can be safely carried by a single person. Repairs are carried out free of charge, although any replacement parts or consumable materials needed for the repair must be supplied by the item owner.
Toasters, kettles, coffee makers, lamps, fans, and other small electrical items.
Functional repairs for household items, gadgets, and everyday equipment.
Children's toys, remote-controlled devices, and electronic gadgets.
Sewing repairs, functional alterations, patching, and soft toy repairs.
Basic bike repairs, chain adjustments, brake fixes, mechanical maintenance, and small garden equipment repairs.

While we strive to repair as many items as possible, please note that all repairs depend on:
- Volunteer expertise and skills available on the day
- Availability of necessary parts and tools
- The nature and complexity of the repair required
We cannot guarantee that every item can be fixed, but our volunteers will do their best to help!
